The Plan for Manchester's 1st Dog Park!

The plan in a nutshell:

1. Raise the funds to obtain liability insurance
2. Clear and clean the property of debris; use of a backhoe has been donated to help facilitate this
3. Obtain permit from the city for fence and have fence installed
4. Grand Opening Day! We're shooting for mid-June; we'll have a day filled with fun for dogs and their owners alike!

We can't do this alone - we need your help! Whether you are a dog-owner or you just want to see an improvement to a much blighted property and improved quality of life for Manchester residents, your donation of your time, your ideas or your financial support is very much appreciated!

Beyond the clearing/cleaning and erecting the fence, there are ongoing expense that need to be met via donations and memberships, i.e. stone dust for inside the fencing, marketing materials to promote the park, advertsiing, liability insurance, amenities for the park such as signage, benches, agility items, a people structure, etc.

Annual Memberships will be sold for $5 per dog. Beyond financial needs, we believ that this will give the users of the park a sense of ownership which is crucial for the success of the park.
